Do you accept students with learning differences?
Absolutely. American Faith Academy is designed to meet students where they are, and our adaptive platform is particularly well-suited for
students with diverse learning needs. Between our placement process and the personalized pacing of our platform, we can tailor the educational
experience to each student’s strengths and challenges.
AFA provides a rigorous, classical Christian education. If your student has the desire to learn, we can provide them with an exceptional education.
We believe that every child, regardless of their learning profile, deserves access to a Christ-centered education that cultivates wisdom, virtue,
and a love for learning.
What is your statement of faith?
American Faith Academy is grounded in Augustine’s sentiment: “In essentials unity, in nonessentials liberty, and in all things love.” We believe:
The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings,
the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the Divine and final authority for Christian faith and life.
In one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
That Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
He died on the cross, a sacrifice for our sins, according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven,
where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.
That the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and, during this age, to convict men; regenerate
the believing sinner; and indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.
That man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is, therefore, lost; only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit
can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
That the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His Resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe,
and only such as receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God.
In the personal and imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and that this “Blessed Hope” has a vital bearing on the personal life
and service of the believer.
In the bodily resurrection of the dead: the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord; the unbeliever to judgment
and everlasting conscious punishment.
Additionally, we believe:
• We believe in one true God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator of all things and the sovereign ruler over heaven and earth.
• All people are created equal and in the image of God.
• God made us male and female. Gender corresponds to our God-given sex rooted in divine design.
• Marriage is between one man and one woman.
• All life is sacred, beginning at conception.
• The teaching of God’s truth and virtue is the beginning of wisdom and is the best defense against destructive ideologies.
• The epicenter of a child’s formation is the family. The church, schools, and community exist to serve God and the family.
• The founding ideals of the United States—freedom, equality, liberty, opportunity, and democracy—are essential to teach, model, and preserve.
• Working together advocating for virtuous education is critical for a flourishing society.
